The defendant, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Maine (Blue Cross), appeals from a judgment for the plaintiff, Paul Pombriant, entered on a jury verdict in the Superior Court (Androscoggin County, Cole, J.) awarding Pombriant compensatory and punitive damages for Blue Cross's tortious interference with a contract between Pombriant and Bennett Industries (Bennett) and the breach of a contract between Pombriant and Blue Cross.
