On June 8, 1988, plaintiff Hothem filed this action against the defendant, Fallsview Psychiatric Hospital ("Fallsview"). Plaintiff alleges that defendant negligently failed to provide proper supervision and confinement of dangerous patients from the general population at said facility. Plaintiff asserts that she was beaten by another patient and sustained injuries due to defendant's lack of proper care.
