Veronica Mae Aultman, a minor, by next friend, Juel Burk Schultz and Billy Joe Schultz, filed separate complaints against Sunshine Food Stores and Joan W. Hilliard in the Circuit Court of Harrison County for damages, charging false imprisonment and negligent hiring against the defendants. The complaints were consolidated and, at the conclusion of all the evidence, the lower court directed a verdict in favor of the plaintiffs...
