In a bill of complaint filed in the Circuit Court of Chesterfield County, Carroll W. Foster sought a divorce from his wife, Sylvia Sehen Beckner Foster, on the ground of desertion. He also prayed for the enforcement of a separation agreement the parties had signed, which, according to his allegations, was fair and equitable.
