ELLIS, Justice.

Appellant, Mike Robert Weisinger, appeals a judgment of conviction for the offense of aggravated sexual assault of a child. Tex.Penal Code Ann. § 22.021(b) (Vernon 1989). Appellant waived a trial by jury and his case was tried before the court. The trial court rejected appellant's "not guilty" plea, found him guilty as charged in the indictments, and assessed punishment at forty years confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections...
