PECK, Justice.

Defendant appeals a conviction after a jury trial of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor (23 V.S.A. § 1201(a)(2)). We affirm.

On the evening of November 22, 1986, some time before 11:10 p.m. defendant was involved in a two-car collision on Route 5 in St. Johnsbury Center. Vermont State Trooper Robert Clark arrived on the scene after the accident and saw defendant and a male companion, later identified as defendant's boyfriend...
