Following a bench trial, defendant Oscar Lopez was found guilty of delivery of a controlled substance (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1985, ch. 56 1/2, par. 1401(a)(2)) and sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment. Defendant appeals and raises as issues whether: the State proved him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and the circuit court improperly denied his motion for a new trial because of an alleged appearance...
