The defendants, Robert A. McMurl and Ricky L. Treadway, were charged by information in Cass County with one count of burglary (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, par. 19-1(a)) and two counts of felony theft (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, par. 16-1(a)(1)). Pursuant to a plea agreement, the State dismissed the burglary count and the defendants pleaded guilty to the felony theft...
