Plaintiff Lone Star Industries, Inc. (Lone Star) filed this action against defendant Mays Towing Company, Inc. (Mays) pursuant to the Court's admiralty and maritime jurisdiction, 28 U.S.C. § 1333. Lone Star seeks damages arising out of the sinking of its barge, which it alleges was the result of negligent towing by Mays.
