After a jury trial, defendant, Larry Dean Mays, was found guilty of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 56 1/2, par. 1401(c)) in Jefferson County and was sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment. Defendant appeals his conviction.
