This is a maritime action originally brought by plaintiffs Somarelf and Fairfield Maxwell Services Ltd. ("Fairfield Maxwell"), for damages incurred because of mistakes in calculation by defendant American Bureau of Shipping ("ABS"), a classification society which classifies and surveys ships.
