On November 23, 1987, a criminal information was filed in the circuit court for Douglas County against the defendant Carlos M. Burrows. After a jury trial, the defendant was found guilty on January 29, 1988. The trial court denied the defendant's post-trial motions and ordered the defendant's bond to be applied to reimbursing the county for legal services furnished by the public defender...
