LEISURE, District Judge:

This action was tried to a jury over seven days in late February and early March of 1989. The jury returned a verdict for plaintiff in the amount of $650,000 in compensatory damages against both defendants and $150,000 in punitive damages against Officer Scott Cohen ("Cohen" or "Officer Cohen").
