In this case of misrepresentation in the sale of an automobile, the only question for review involves the sufficiency of the evidence as to the elements of reliance and damages.

On April 16, 1987, appellant, Scott Lancaster, purchased a used 1986 Lincoln Town Car from appellee, Schilling Motors. According to appellant's testimony, the salesman, Jim Norris, told appellant that the only damage to the car was body damage to the right rear fender...
