Appellant was working as a union carpenter for a contractor at the Exxon refinery in Baytown, Texas. He tripped and fell over a hose and injured his back. Lewis sued appellees Mundy Construction Company, Inc. and Mundy Industrial Services, Inc., alleging that the negligent conduct of their employees caused his fall.
