DUPONT, C. J.

The defendant appeals from the judgment of the trial court dissolving his marriage to the plaintiff, challenging certain financial awards. The defendant claims that the trial court erred (1) in making certain factual findings allegedly unsupported by the record, and (2) in basing its orders of periodic alimony and child support on the defendant's earning capacity. We find no error.
