On or about June 26, 1985, defendant Rachel Lantz was driving her automobile eastbound on Tallmadge Road in Portage County, Ohio, when a southbound automobile driven by defendant Richard J. Nezbeth, Jr. failed to yield at a stop sign. Nezbeth's automobile entered the intersection and was struck broadside by Lantz's automobile.
