These appeals arose from the retrial required by Hamrick v. Bonner, 182 Ga.App. 76 (354 S.E.2d 687) (1987) (appellees are referred to as both Hambrick and Hamrick). That opinion sets out the factual context of the dispute, which is whether Eddie Bonner had no right to a year's support from the estate of his deceased wife, Alice Bonner, due to his marriage in April 1984...
