Plaintiff and defendant married in 1962 and, during their 23-year marriage, were employed as teachers, except for a 10-year period when plaintiff stayed home to raise their children. At the time of trial, defendant was receiving a gross salary of approximately $40,000, and plaintiff was receiving a salary of $28,000...
