Gary Smith was charged by bills of information with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (196523) and second offense possession of marijuana (194825), violations of LSA-R.S. 14:95.1 and 40:966, respectively. Gary's wife, Annette Smith, was charged by bill of information (194806) with possession of cocaine, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967.
