This is an appeal from a first-degree murder conviction, NMSA 1978, Section 30-2-1(A) (Repl.Pamp. 1984), and attempted first-degree murder, NMSA 1978, Sections 30-2-1(A) and 30-28-1(A) (Repl.Pamp. 1984). Defendant-appellant, Jerry Isiah, pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
