The movant, Hobert J. Green, was charged with murder in the first degree in that he, after deliberation, knowingly caused the death of James Allen Detjen by beating him. Pursuant to a plea bargain, movant entered an Alford plea of guilty to a reduced charge of murder in the second degree.
