On November 15, 1984, defendant, Graciella Farias, pleaded guilty to a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 56 1/2, par. 1402(b).) The trial court sentenced her to 13 months' probation and imposed a fine. The trial court terminated defendant's probation on January 13, 1986. On August 18, 1987, defendant filed a petition for post-conviction...
