WILLIAMS, Judge.

Romallis Stukes was indicted by the Orleans Parish Grand Jury on September 23, 1987 for the aggravated rape of his four-year old daughter. The defendant elected a non-jury trial and on December 17, 1987 he was found guilty as charged. On January 7, 1988, defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
