The plaintiffs, Mark and Linda Anderson, brought suit against the defendants, Willard Stowell, Jackie Stowell, and Carol Doyle. Count II of the plaintiffs' amended complaint alleged that the Stowells had violated the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (the Act) (Ill. Rev.
