DOOLEY, Justice.

This is an action to confirm an arbitration award for plaintiff, the contractor in a construction contract dispute. Over objections by the defendants, homeowners, that they had not signed a statutorily required acknowledgement of arbitration and were improperly denied a continuance by the arbitrators, the Rutland Superior Court confirmed the arbitration award and entered judgment for plaintiff.
