Appellant Clinton Keith Graham was charged by information with selling obscene material, an offense denounced by Section 43.23(c)(1), Texas Penal Code Annotated (Vernon 1989). After his motion to quash the "complaint" was denied, appellant entered his non-negotiated plea of nolo contendere. The court accepted the plea, found appellant guilty, and assessed his punishment at a fine of $1,000 and confinement in the county jail for twenty days...
