Pamela Rodrigue (plaintiff) was injured on September 26, 1984, when her husband's pickup truck in which she was riding collided with a concrete base for a light pole in a parking lot owned by Firestone Tire & Rubber Company (Firestone) in Houma, Louisiana. She brought suit against Firestone, G.G. Marcel & Sons, Inc. (Marcel), lessee and operator of Firestone's store, and State Farm Insurance Company (State Farm), her husband Ricky Rodrigue...
