The United States moved to dismiss the appeal in this 21 U.S.C. § 881 in rem forfeiture action for lack of jurisdiction as to those properties already forfeited and sold pending appeal. Respondents Diane Griffin and Blacon Foods, Inc. (Blacon) allege that such dismissal would be improper given this court's in personam jurisdiction and the government's alleged failure to comply with 21 U.S.C. § 853(n)'s notice and hearing requirements...
