Plaintiff, Ronald B. Uhles ("Uhles"), commenced this action in the Superior Court of California for Santa Barbara County, against F.W. Woolworth Company ("Woolworth"), a New York corporation, alleging that Woolworth failed to properly maintain premises leased from Uhles in Santa Barbara, California.
