Appellant was convicted by a jury of bribery pursuant to Section 36.02(a)(1) of the Penal Code. The jury also assessed punishment at two years confinement which was probated. The court of appeals affirmed appellant's conviction in a published opinion. Kaisner v. State, 772 S.W.2d 528
