The 1989 legislature enacted a comprehensive revision to the Florida guardianship law which is scheduled to become effective October 1, 1989. Ch. 89-96, Laws of Fla. As a consequence, it is necessary that Part III of the Florida Probate Rules, which pertains exclusively to guardianship, be substantially amended.
