BELL, Justice.

The superior court held the appellants in contempt for violating an injunction. The court concluded that appellant Smith had committed contempt on nine occasions, and that appellant Short had committed contempt twice. For Smith's first offense the court ordered him jailed for twenty days and fined $500. For Smith's remaining offenses the court ordered him to serve 20 days in jail for each offense or to purge his contempt by paying a $500 fine for each...
