BUSSEY, Judge:

The appellant, Keith DeWayne Johnson, was tried and convicted in the District Court of Jackson County of the crimes of Assault With a Dangerous Weapon After Former Conviction of a Felony (Count I), and Feloniously Carrying a Firearm (Count II) and was sentenced to twelve (12) years imprisonment on Count I and four (4) years imprisonment on Count II, the sentences to run consecutively...
