Walter Bailey appeals his conviction based on a jury verdict, for indecent liberties, contending that the trial court improperly instructed the jury that indecent liberties was a lesser included offense of statutory rape in the first degree. He also argues that the trial court improperly admitted the victim's hearsay statements; that the victim was incompetent to testify; and that the State failed to prove all elements of the crime.
