The case at hand, involves a defamation suit brought by Michael C. Beauchamp, plaintiff, against Eckerd's Drugs of Louisiana, Inc., defendant with a principal place of business in Orleans Parish. The district court granted a directed verdict in defendant's favor and the plaintiff has appealed.
