Defendant, Ray Anthony Sampay, was indicted by a grand jury for first degree murder. By unanimous vote, a jury of twelve found defendant guilty as charged. The result of the sentencing phase of trial was the jury's recommendation of life imprisonment. On appeal, defendant alleges three assignments of error.
