These two cases have been consolidated on appeal because they raise the same issues. Appellants challenge the admission of certain evidence.

Each appellant was stopped and cited for speeding in the City of Bellevue, one in late 1985 and the other in early 1986. Measurement of vehicular speed was determined by use of radar units.
