Defendant, Eleanor Peterson, and codefendant, James Reginald Turner, were charged by indictment with the murder of defendant's husband, Roy Peterson. Following a jury trial, defendants were convicted as charged. Defendant Peterson was sentenced to 50 years and codefendant Turner1 was sentenced to 40 years' imprisonment.
