Before the court is defendant William H. Heuer's ("Heuer") motion for summary judgment. For the following reasons, the motion is granted.

FACTS

In January, 1980, Heuer was employed by Osawa Precision Industries, a subsidiary of J. Osawa & Co. ("J. Osawa"), a Japanese trading company which specialized in camera equipment. In the spring of 1982, Heuer was assigned to Osawa & Company ("Osawa-Chicago")...
