Two petitions were filed by the juvenile officer, one subsequently amended, which alleged that the female child, D.B., then 8 years of age, was in need of care and treatment. After hearing, the trial court found on each petition that it was in the best interest of the child that she be placed in care and custody of the Division of Family Services.
