Defendant, Alvin Mayes, was charged by bill of information with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967A(1). Defendant pleaded guilty as charged, reserving his right pursuant to State v. Crosby, 338 So.2d 584 (La.1976), to appeal the trial court's denial of his motion to suppress.
