James E. Quinn was convicted of second degree murder, LSA-R.S. 14:30.1, and was sentenced to life imprisonment without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. In his sole assignment of error, he contends that the evidence is sufficient only to convict him of manslaughter.1
