Defendant was convicted by a Cleveland County jury on two counts of disseminating obscene material in violation of N.C.G. S. § 14-190.1. The trial judge consolidated the offenses for the purpose of judgment and sentenced defendant to a term of one year's imprisonment, but suspended the sentence and placed defendant on supervised probation for five years.
