This appeal arises out of the trial court's granting of the motion to dismiss of defendant-appellee, Jia Hsing Hwang, M.D., against plaintiff, Joyce Bassett. Bassett named Dr. Hwang as a defendant in her amended complaint alleging medical malpractice.
