Plaintiff, Steve Y. Davis, appeals the dismissal of his action under Iowa Code chapter 601A. Davis brought this action under the provisions of chapter 601A, alleging that the defendant, Iowa Department of Corrections (Department), violated the provisions of Iowa Code section 601A.6 (1985), by discharging him because of his national origin.
