This is an appeal from a judgment on a cross-claim filed by Monty Smith against Clayton Homes of Decatur, a division of Clayton Homes of Alabama, a corporation ("Clayton Homes"), seeking damages for conversion of a welding torch set. The jury returned a $50,527 general verdict for Smith, and the trial court entered judgment on the verdict.
