LAVORATO, Justice.

Christopher E. Foster appeals here from a district court decision ordering him to be involuntarily committed for psychiatric evaluation and treatment. Foster, who is incarcerated for second-degree burglary, contends that the district court decision is not supported by substantial evidence of his dangerousness, an element required by statute for involuntary commitment. He argues that his dangerousness cannot be shown by evidence of other prisoners...
