On June 23, 1986, the appellant entered a guilty plea to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and received five years probation. On August 20, 1987, the Pike County Circuit Court granted the State's petition to revoke the appellant's probation and he was sentenced to ten years in the Arkansas Department of Correction.
