GRABER, Judge.

Defendant was convicted of contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor. ORS 163.435. His sole assignment of error is the trial court's refusal to dismiss the charge on the basis of an alleged civil compromise. We affirm.

At the time of the incident, defendant was 19 years old, and the girl with whom he had sexual intercourse was 17 years old. Both lived with their parents. The two families were well acquainted as members of the Portland...
